Adrienne Kegel is the Children's Ministry Director and Women's Ministry Director at Agoura Bible Fellowship. Under Children's Ministry, she oversees several ministries related to ABF children. 'Kids BLAST' translates to "Bible Learning And Spiritual Transformation" and covers Nursery through Grade 5. The Children's Ministry is year-round and also includes winter and summer camps. And the AWANA program meets for 30 weeks each year and covers a wide range of ages from age 3 through high school. The Women's Ministry has many groups that meet most of the year. It also has annual events such as the Tea and Retreat.
Adrienne was blessed with a strong Christian upbringing and accepted Christ at age five. She grew up in Saskatchewan and attended a one-year discipleship school after finishing high school. It was at that point that God began directing her toward ministry. Adrienne completed her Bachelor's Degree at North Park University in Chicago, studying Youth Ministry and Biblical & Theological Studies. At that point, she began a two-year internship at Willow Creek Community Church in College Ministry. She went on to complete her Master's Degree at Moody Graduate School, studying Spiritual Formation & Discipleship. Prior to moving to California, Adrienne worked at Judson University for 15 years. Her multiple roles included International & Intercultural Advisor, Resident Director, Campus Spiritual Formation Director and Missions Coordinator.
Over the years, Adrienne has been involved in Children's Ministry through leadership roles in after-school programs, Vacation Bible School and as a Sunday School teacher. Adrienne is passionate about students falling in love with Jesus, learning God's Word, walking by the Spirit and prayer. Her strengths are leadership, evangelism, team building and communication.
